Rebel Wilson’s ‘Bride Hard’ Sets Release Date, Reveals First Look

Rebel Wilson’s hilarious spin on the classic wedding comedy, titled “Bride Hard,” is scheduled to hit theaters nationwide this coming summer.

On June 20th, Magenta Light Studios, led by Bob Yari, will release the comedy “EbMaster” across the country, according to our report. The movie, helmed by Simon West who has previously directed films like “The Expendables 2” and “Con Air”, brings back Rebel Wilson alongside her “Pitch Perfect” co-star Anna Camp. The impressive ensemble also features Anna Chlumsky from “Inventing Anna” and “Veep”, Academy Award winner Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Gigi Zumbado, Stephen Dorff from “True Detective” and “The Righteous Gemstones”, and Justin Hartley known for his roles in “Tracker” and “This is Us”.

Wilson portrays Sam, a secret agent who finds herself in her most challenging assignment yet: ensuring that her best friend’s bride-to-be (Camp) is satisfied at an extravagant destination wedding. However, the festivities are disrupted when a group of mercenaries invade and take the guests captive. In a situation unlike any she’s faced before, Sam must balance maintaining her cover and protecting the wedding day, all while engaging in a dangerous confrontation that blends seamlessly with the fairy-tale atmosphere. As she battles the villains, she comes to suspect that the real danger might be lurking closer than she imagines. A sneak peek of the scene can be found in the image above.

Filled with laughter and pulse-pounding excitement, ‘Bride Hard’ promises to amuse everyone who has ever been to a wedding,” Yari remarked. “The unconventional pairing of Simon West and Rebel Wilson creates an exceptionally enjoyable spectacle that moviegoers will relish watching on the big screen this summer.

As a cinema enthusiast, I’m proud to share that I, along with Joel David Moore (“The Immaculate Room,” “Some Other Woman”), Colleen Camp (“Above Suspicion”), Cassian Elwes (“The Butler”), Max Osswald (“The Immaculate Room”), and Jason Ross Jallet (“Big Gold Brick”) were the producers of this exciting project. We collaborated with WME Independent, Copper Island Films, and Latigo Films to bring it to life.
