The 2025 movie lineup is brimming with comedic and action-filled titles, such as the upcoming movie “Bride Hard“, starring Rebel Wilson. Despite its title, which suggests a combination of the classic action film “Die Hard” and the popular comedy “Bridesmaids“, the production didn’t come without incident for the lead actress. Towards the latter part of filming, Wilson encountered an unexpected accident, details of which she has since shared openly.

Recently, Wilson has been talking to the media about “Bride Hard”. During these sessions, she’s revealed amusing, backstage facts. In a recent chat with Access Hollywood, she opened up about her nose injury, which she suffered alongside co-star Anna Camp. It turns out that while filming a fight scene, Wilson’s nose was inadvertently hit by a gun, causing a pretty severe facial wound. As a result, she had to temporarily leave set. Interestingly, this unfortunate incident occurred on her last day of filming.

During the filming of this movie, an unfortunate accident occurred in a fight scene where a gun accidentally struck my face. This was purely by chance and resulted in a deep cut on my nose. Consequently, I had to leave the set. Regrettably, it was my final night of shooting. I remember thinking, ‘What bad luck! The last night of shooting, the last fight sequence, and now my nose is injured.’ If anyone has experienced a facial injury before, they’ll understand that there can be an overwhelming amount of blood involved.

Wow, it certainly sounds intense! It wouldn’t be surprising to hear about an injury to a star during the filming of an action movie. But hearing that Wilson sustained a nose injury during the production of “Bride Hard” is quite shocking. If you’ve seen some of Wilson’s impressive performances, you know she always gives her all. Yet, it seems this might be an unprecedented challenge for her while filming a project.

Following her account of the events, the actress from Hustle shared her emotions as the situation unfolded in a chaotic manner (to be honest, I’m not sure if I could have remained calm during that distressing event). Later on, Wilson elaborated on being transported to the hospital and what further actions were required afterwards.

In a state of extreme panic, I ended up being rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. Due to the severity of my injuries, a plastic surgeon had to be summoned to ensure I wouldn’t suffer permanent disfigurement. Thankfully, they were able to repair me, and now there’s no trace of what happened – it was truly a bizarre, unfortunate accident.
