Prior to the major update featuring fresh content, as mentioned initially, there was a minor update specifically for the game RoadCraft. The Patch 1.6 has been rolled out, enhancing overall stability and addressing an issue where game files would become corrupted when quitting the game using Alt+F4 during a session. For a comprehensive rundown of all changes, refer to the announcement posted on Steam.
Original news (June 4th)
The RoadCraft simulation has just been updated with its first fix, addressing issues that players have been vocal about. Rest assured, there will be additional updates to come from Saber Interactive studio, as indicated by their new roadmap, suggesting further patches and new content in the upcoming months.
Likely by the end of this week, we’ll roll out our initial free upgrade, tackling the upcoming set of issues. Additionally, players stand to gain control over their engine settings, enabling them to switch it on or off, as well as enjoying a photo mode and four fresh vehicles – take a look at them down below. Further free updates featuring fixes and additional cars are scheduled for July.
In September, fans can anticipate not just five fresh vehicles, but also new missions and two previously unrevealed maps as part of the Rebuild update. To sweeten the deal, a challenging mode will be added for those seeking a test, and it won’t come at an extra cost.
In the coming months, we’ll unveil our strategy for developing the game, which we hope will enhance the Steam experience for RoadCraft. To date, it has garnered over 7,000 reviews on Valve’s platform, with a solid 75% of these being favorable. It’s also available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms, in addition to PC.
