Reacher Season 3: New Villains, Old Friends, and Surprises Await!

As a die-hard fan, I can’t contain my excitement! This week, we’re diving back into the gritty world of Jack Reacher with Season 3 on Prime Video. Here’s a sneak peek at who’s coming back and who’s joining the team this time around. Let’s roll!

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but express my excitement over the phenomenal success of Reacher on Amazon. The first season was masterfully adapted from Lee Child’s initial novel in the series, Killing Floor, while Season 2 was brilliantly brought to life based on the 2007 book, Bad Luck and Trouble.

In the third season, the storyline follows the adaption of the 2003 novel “Persuasion,” leading Jack Reacher into a web of intrigue involving a suspicious rug dealer who has connections to an old adversary from his past.

Once more, Alan Ritchson takes on the role of Jack Reacher. Additionally, Anthony Michael Hall and Oliver Richters are new additions to the cast as antagonists. Interestingly, an old acquaintance reappears in an unexpected manner…

Reacher Season 3 cast and characters

In this article, you will find key actors from the third season of Reacher, along with descriptions of their roles and their previous acting credits.

This change aims to provide a more conversational tone while maintaining the original information structure.

Starting from the premiere episodes airing on February 20, 2025, we’ll be updating our character list as fresh faces join the series. As we delve deeper, be aware that there might be some minor spoilers in the plot details…

Alan Ritchson as Jack Reacher

In a more straightforward way: Alan Ritchson portrays Jack Reacher, a colossal figure who served in the military police. Now he wanders from one town to another, trying to avoid conflicts. However, given his imposing size and strong moral compass, it’s often hard for him to steer clear of trouble.

Ritchson stands at around 6 feet 2 inches tall, has blonde hair, and boasts a muscular build, which makes him an ideal candidate physically for a role similar to the 6 feet 5 inch character. Notably, this is much taller than Tom Cruise, who portrayed Reacher in two films.

As a gamer, I’m recognized for my role as Aquaman on Smallville, but I’ve also made my mark on shows like Blue Mountain State, Titans, and Blood Drive. On the silver screen, you might know me from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Fast X, and more recently, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.

Anthony Michael Hall as Zachary Beck

In Season 3, Anthony Michael Hall portrays Zachary Beck, a character with a family fortune yet also involved in the import-export business of rugs through Bizarre Bazaar. However, his extensive security team and the recurring kidnappings of his son hint at some questionable activities beyond the scope of his business dealings.

Anthony Michael Hall gained popularity as a child actor, particularly in the films Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club, and Weird Science directed by John Hughes. He later joined Saturday Night Live at a young age, and between 2002 and 2007, he played the lead role in a television series based on Stephen King’s novel, The Dead Zone.

Johnny Berchtold as Richard Beck

In the beginning of Season 3, Johnny Berchtold reprises his role as Richard Beck, Zachary’s son, who had a harrowing experience where his ear was severed and sent to him after an earlier kidnapping incident. Once again, he finds himself in a comparable predicament.

2023 was a significant year for Berchtold, as he graced our television screens in the comedy-drama series titled Tiny Little Things, and also shone in the films Dog Gone, Snow Falls, and The Passenger.

Oliver Richters as Paulie

It’s challenging for producers to find actors who can convincingly match Alan Ritchson’s size for his role in the show, but they’ve managed to cast Oliver Richters as Paulie, Zachary Beck’s henchman, who offers a worthy fight.

A towering individual of Dutch origin, standing at an impressive 7 feet and 2 inches, has made a transition from bodybuilding to acting, taking on heavy roles in notable productions such as Black Widow, The King’s Man, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, and Borderlands.

Sonya Cassidy as Susan Duffy

Sonya Cassidy portrays the role of tough-as-nails federal agent Susan Duffy, whose Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) probe into the questionable dealings of Zachary Beck leads to an encounter with Jack Reacher. This meeting ultimately sparks a joint effort between them in solving the case.

Cassidy, who hails from Britain, has graced various television shows such as The Tudors, The Paradise, Humans, Lodge 49, The Last Kingdom, and The Man Who Fell to Earth, showcasing her versatile acting skills on each.

Brian Tee as Francis Xavier Quinn

In a more straightforward manner, Brian Tee portrays Lieutenant Colonel Quinn, an individual who shares a past with Jack Reacher from their military service. However, Reacher describes Quinn as “the most horrendous person I’ve ever encountered.” Throughout the broader narrative of Season 3, Quinn appears to be entwined in some way with the main plotline.

In “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift”, Brian Tee portrayed the antagonist, and he also made appearances in “The Wolverine” and “Jurassic World”. Prior to this, Tee shared the screen with Alan Ritchson, assuming the role of Shredder while Ritchson played Raphael in “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows”, which was released in 2016.

Maria Stern as Frances Neagley

Maria Stern portrays Frances Neagley, who made her entrance in Season 2, and surprisingly joins the cast for Season 3. It’s notable that this character doesn’t exist in the original book series. Neagley previously worked alongside Reacher in the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit, now holds a position in corporate security, and is one of Jack’s closest friends, almost like his best friend.

Known primarily for her leading roles, Stern has made a name for herself portraying Crystal Reed in the Swamp Thing television series, as well as playing Jillian Hope Hodgson in the horror series Channel Zero: The Dream Door.

Is Roscoe in Season 3 of Reacher?

Rolesk Conklin was the local law enforcement officer in the first season of Reacher. He had a short-lived romance with Jack, a character from the show. Although Roscoe is mentioned in Season 2, he doesn’t make an appearance. It seems that we won’t see Rolesk again in Season 3 unless there’s a surprise cameo. If that happens, we’ll be sure to revise this write-up accordingly.

Willa Fitzgerald, who has been making a name for herself in the horror genre, portrayed Conklin. She can be seen in MTV’s Scream series, The Fall of the House of Usher on Netflix, and is set to shine in one of 2024’s anticipated horror films, Strange Darling.

Is Karla Dixon in Reacher Season 3

In the 110th Special Investigations Unit, Karla Dixon worked alongside Jack Reacher, and there was a strong, non-physical connection between them. However, their relationship took a new turn in Season 2 of Reacher, where they became romantically involved.

Currently, the character is employed as a forensic accountant within the field of corporate risk management, similar to Roscoe. At present, no indications point towards her appearing in Season 3; however, should she make an appearance, we’ll be sure to update this article accordingly.

Serinda Swan portrays Karla, an actress known for roles such as Zantanna Zantara on Smallville alongside Alan Ritchson, and who has also appeared on Ballers, Inhumans, Coroner, Graceland, and Breakout Kings. Her most significant role in film was as Aphrodite in the Percy Jackson movie.

Beginning on February 20, 2025, the initial three installments of Reacher Season 3 will be available for streaming on Prime Video.
