Raja Jackson was arrested about a month after he attacked a professional wrestler in California. The attack was caught on camera and widely reported.
Nearly a month after a violent incident at a KnokX Pro Wrestling event in Los Angeles, the son of UFC star Quinton “Rampage” Jackson was arrested. The arrest happened after growing public concern and questions about why it took authorities so long to make an arrest.
The Attack on “Syko Stu”
During a live wrestling event on August 23, 2025, Raja Jackson unexpectedly attacked wrestler Stuart Smith, also known as Syko Stu. Video footage shows Jackson slamming Stu to the ground and then hitting him nearly twenty times in the head and face while he was unconscious. The attack lasted about 11 seconds before other wrestlers intervened.

The aftermath was gruesome. Syko Stu revealed the extent of his injuries to MMA Fighting.
He reported both of his jaws were broken – both the upper and lower. His upper jawbone was fractured, his lip was cut, and he’d lost seven teeth, with several others loosened. He also had two black eyes.
He spent several days in the hospital, and after being discharged, doctors expect a lengthy and difficult recovery.
What Led Up to the Attack
The fight wasn’t sudden. Earlier in the evening, things had already started to heat up between the two men after a disagreement involving a beer can.
At the event, Syko Stu reportedly hit Raja Jackson in the head with a beer can. It’s not known if this was intentional, part of the performance, or a sudden reaction. The incident appeared to be a mistake, as cameras showed Syko Stu apologizing right away.
According to wrestling sources, the plan was for a measured reaction – a small, symbolic move like a hard forearm or chest bump – to show acknowledgement of the initial action without making things worse. Raja reportedly stated the beer can actually didn’t cause any pain.

Rampage also confirmed he has not spoken to Raja since the attack.
Jackson explained, “He damaged my reputation, so I stopped speaking to him. He hasn’t been honest with me, and his actions put my children at risk. I won’t consider talking to him again until he admits what he’s done.”
The ex-UFC champion explained that although he still loves his son, his violent behavior needs to have consequences.
“This is not how I raised him,” he said. “I can’t support it. He has to face consequences.”

According to reports, Raja first attempted to minimize the severity of the attack, even suggesting some aspects might have been staged. Rampage has stated publicly that his son withheld information and broke his confidence.
Rampage explained, “I dedicated my life to creating something, and it was destroyed in just moments. That’s simply unfair.”
