Raja Jackson Arrested Weeks After Brutal Pro Wrestling Show Assault

Raja Jackson was arrested about a month after he attacked a professional wrestler in California. The attack was caught on camera and widely reported.

Nearly a month after a violent incident at a KnokX Pro Wrestling event in Los Angeles, the son of UFC star Quinton “Rampage” Jackson was arrested. The arrest happened after growing public concern and questions about why it took authorities so long to make an arrest.

The Attack on “Syko Stu”

During a live wrestling event on August 23, 2025, Raja Jackson unexpectedly attacked wrestler Stuart Smith, also known as Syko Stu. Video footage shows Jackson slamming Stu to the ground and then hitting him nearly twenty times in the head and face while he was unconscious. The attack lasted about 11 seconds before other wrestlers intervened.

LAPD are now looking for Raja Jackson after multiple online reports have been made.

The aftermath was gruesome. Syko Stu revealed the extent of his injuries to MMA Fighting.

He reported both of his jaws were broken – both the upper and lower. His upper jawbone was fractured, his lip was cut, and he’d lost seven teeth, with several others loosened. He also had two black eyes.

He spent several days in the hospital, and after being discharged, doctors expect a lengthy and difficult recovery.

What Led Up to the Attack

The fight wasn’t sudden. Earlier in the evening, things had already started to heat up between the two men after a disagreement involving a beer can.

At the event, Syko Stu reportedly hit Raja Jackson in the head with a beer can. It’s not known if this was intentional, part of the performance, or a sudden reaction. The incident appeared to be a mistake, as cameras showed Syko Stu apologizing right away.

According to wrestling sources, the plan was for a measured reaction – a small, symbolic move like a hard forearm or chest bump – to show acknowledgement of the initial action without making things worse. Raja reportedly stated the beer can actually didn’t cause any pain.

Watching the livestream on Kick, you could really feel the tension building as the fans started getting Raja riled up. He seemed to get more and more upset, and it was clear he was going into the ring to retaliate. But what happened next was scary – it wasn’t a controlled wrestling match at all. He just started throwing punch after punch at Syko Stu, even after Stu was clearly knocked out. It was a non-stop barrage of over 20 punches, and it was really disturbing to watch.

Why Did the Raja Jackson Arrest Take So Long?

Although a video of the incident quickly spread online, Raja Jackson wasn’t arrested until mid-September – almost a month after it happened. TMZ reported he was charged with aggravated battery causing serious harm and was released after posting $50,000 bail.

The delay in making an arrest has drawn criticism from fans and people within the industry, who are wondering why it took so long to pursue legal action after such a clear and serious attack. So far, officials haven’t explained the weeks-long wait between the incident and the arrest.

Rampage Jackson Cuts Off His Son

Many people were surprised by Rampage Jackson’s reaction to his son’s situation. Instead of supporting his son, the MMA star made it clear he strongly disapproves. He openly shared his disappointment with TMZ.

Jackson believes the individual deserves a harsh punishment, including prison time, community service, and both anger management and therapy. He expressed deep distress, stating, “That’s not my son. That’s a monster.”

Rampage also confirmed he has not spoken to Raja since the attack.

Jackson explained, “He damaged my reputation, so I stopped speaking to him. He hasn’t been honest with me, and his actions put my children at risk. I won’t consider talking to him again until he admits what he’s done.”

The ex-UFC champion explained that although he still loves his son, his violent behavior needs to have consequences.

“This is not how I raised him,” he said. “I can’t support it. He has to face consequences.”

A Family in Crisis

According to reports, Raja first attempted to minimize the severity of the attack, even suggesting some aspects might have been staged. Rampage has stated publicly that his son withheld information and broke his confidence.

Rampage explained, “I dedicated my life to creating something, and it was destroyed in just moments. That’s simply unfair.”

The Road Ahead

Now that Raja Jackson has been arrested after a lengthy wait, people in the fighting world are demanding answers. Why did it take so long for authorities to take action, considering the clear video evidence and the serious injuries suffered by the victim?

Syko Stu is starting a long recovery process, while Raja is now facing a serious felony charge that could lead to prison time and lasting harm to his public image. This event has caused a significant rift between Rampage and his son, clearly showing how the line between performance and actual violence became blurred.

Currently, Rampage insists his son needs to be held accountable for his actions, even if it results in a prison sentence.
