Rainy Frog has shared the exciting news that they plan to establish a booth at the Tokyo Game Show 2024. At this showcase, the company intends to exhibit demo versions of seven captivating games. Among these, one game that piqued our curiosity is the remake of Front Mission 3, which will be playable on a Nintendo Switch.
For the first time, we’ve learned about the potential remake of the third main installment in the series, following Forever Entertainment hinting at its development during the September 2022 Nintendo Direct broadcast. Although the company has primarily been working on the remakes for the first two Front Mission games, they have yet to unveil any materials related to the remake of Front Mission 3.
When Rainy Frog shared this update, the official website for Front Mission 3: Remake only displays the original game logo, with no additional details apart from Megapixel Studio’s collaboration with Forever Entertainment on its development. However, since Rainy Frog is a branch of Forever Entertainment, it’s reasonable to assume that both parties have been collaborating to create and adapt the demo version. We anticipate that Forever Entertainment will soon unveil Front Mission 3: Remake officially in the upcoming weeks prior to TGS 2024.
