PS6 Powered By Familiar Chipmaker - Report

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of immersive experiences under my belt, I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and anticipation when it comes to the next-gen consoles. The news about the PS6 has me intrigued, particularly the potential partnership with AMD once more. It seems that Sony just can’t get enough of that AMD love!

Although the PS5 Pro has yet to be released, there are already hints about potential features of the future PS6, according to a recent report. It appears Sony has held talks with Intel and AMD (among others) regarding the powering of their next-gen hardware. Interestingly, it’s suggested that Sony may continue its partnership with AMD for their upcoming technology.

However, it seems like the profit margin per chip might have been a stumbling block in our discussions, which is a bit disappointing. Here’s hoping we can find a resolution soon!

Currently, Sony has unveiled the PS5 Pro, priced at $700, set to be available starting November. Here’s a rundown of what we currently know about the PS5 Pro.
