
The PlayStation Store is having another great week for new releases, following several weeks of packed updates.
Even though Ghost of Yotei has already launched and is likely Sony’s most significant game this year, several other major third-party titles are still on the way.
Here’s a look at the most exciting new games coming out next week, from October 6th to October 12th, plus a full list of all releases.
PS5, PS4 Releases On The PlayStation Store For Oct. 6 To Oct.12

The biggest game release this week is definitely Battlefield 6, and it’s one of the most hyped shooters in a long time, not just for PlayStation 5, but for all gaming platforms.
Although this week doesn’t have any massive releases, there are still some good games coming out that players might enjoy.
- Yooka-Replaylee (PS5 – Oct. 9) – A remaster of the original Yooka-Laylee, which was released in 2017, the platformer capitalizes on nostalgia as part of its charm, and thankfully, it’s a competent game too.
- Battlefield 6 (PS5 – Oct. 10) – Easily the biggest release of the week, EA’s latest Battlefield game is poised for a big release after the massive success of the beta. Check out the game’s trophies to see what sort of multiplayer tasks you’ll need to do in order to obtain the platinum.
- Little Nightmares 3 (PS5, PS4 – Oct. 10) – The sequel to Bandai Namco’s puzzle-horror game. This timed around Tarsier Studios is replaced by Supermassive games, and for the first time in franchise history, the game will feature co-op. Will Supermassive be able to replicate the first two game’s success? We’ll know for usre later this ewek.
- PixelJunk Eden 2 (PS5, PS4 – Oct. 10) -The long-awaited sequel to Q-Games’ 2008 release, this platform, puzzle game might seem simple, but there’s a certain addictive nature to it. PixelJunk Eden 2 was first release in Dec. for the Switch, but is now making its way to PlayStation five years later.

We can anticipate more major updates coming out later this month and throughout November. The number of releases will likely decrease in December as the year comes to a close.
