These include an Intel Core i5-7600 or AMD Ryzen 3 3100 processor, a minimum of 8 GB RAM, and a graphics card like the Nvidia GTX 1650, AMD RX 5500 XT, or AMD RX 6500 XT. For an optimal VR experience, Sony suggests more powerful hardware setups featuring an RTX 3060 or RX 6600 XT graphics card. Furthermore, the app notes that AMD processors must be Zen 2 architecture or newer, while Nvidia GPUs need to be from the Turing generation forward.

Instead, they are concentrating on a limited number of projects, such as Alien: Rogue Incursion, Metal: Hellsinger VR, and Metro: Awakening. These games will add value to the platform’s library. Although Sony is focusing on fewer titles, the addition of Steam application is expected to expand PS VR2’s user base and improve its capabilities, providing a more diverse and convenient VR experience for a larger audience.
