Production Starts on Season 2 of ‘Deadloch,’ Prime Video’s Female-Led Comedy Detective Series – Global Bulletin

DEADLOCH UNLOCKED

As an avid fan of comedy and international productions, I am absolutely thrilled about the upcoming season 2 of “Deadloch” on Prime Video! The combination of Kate Box and Madeleine Sami as detectives Dulcie Collins and Eddie Redcliffe is already a winning formula, and the addition of Steve Bisley, Shari Sebbens, Jean Tong, and Genevieve Morris, among others, promises an even more exciting and diverse cast.

Filming for the second season of the Australian comedy series “Deadloch,” which is on Prime Video, has started in Darwin, Northern Territory. Later on, production will move to Brisbane, Queensland.

The first season introduced two contrasting female detectives working together to solve a murder case, which took place in Tasmania. For the second season, we see the reappearance of Kate Box and Madeleine Sami as detectives Dulcie Collins and Eddie Redcliffe. They are joined by Steve Bisley, Shari Sebbens, Jean Tong, Genevieve Morris (making her acting debut), Byron Coll, Nikki Britton, Anthony J Sharpe, Blake Pavey, Damien Garvey, Ngali Shaw, Bev Killick, Ling Cooper-Tang, Ursula Yovich, Syd Brisbane, Ines English, and Lennox Monaghan in this season.

Season 2 of ‘Deadloch’ was developed and penned by the talented duo, Kate McCartney and Kate McLennan, who also act as executive producers along with Kevin Whyte and Tanya Phegan from Guesswork Television. Andy Walker is the show’s producer. The series is helmed by directors Beck Cole and Gracie Otto. ‘Deadloch’ is a production of Guesswork Television, OK Great Productions, and Amazon MGM Studios. It receives financial aid through Screen Territory’s production attraction incentive program and is backed by the Queensland government through Screen Queensland’s production strategy.
