As a seasoned player of Hunt Showdown, I must say that yesterday’s update has certainly shaken things up! While I appreciate the new engine, map, boss, and weapons, I can’t help but feel a tad frustrated with the new UI. It seems Crytek’s vision isn’t quite hitting the mark for many of us, as some functions are now hidden and less transparent than before.
Yesterday, there was a significant update for Hunt Showdown, introducing a variety of new features such as a new game engine, map, bosses, and weapons. However, not everything in the update has been met with positive feedback, as players have reported bugs and issues with the updated user interface (UI). This guide will show you how to locate your KDA (Kills/Deaths/Assists) and MMR (Matchmaking Rank) within the game.
New UI in Hunt Showdown 1896 Explained
In a more recent version, Hunt Showdown now sports a fresh user interface. However, this revamp doesn’t seem to align with Crytek’s intentions as it’s making several functions more challenging to locate and certain aspects less clear for many players. Shall we explore two such issues side by side?
How to find your KDA?
If you’re wondering about your KDA, here are two ways to find out: One option is to navigate to the ‘Progression’ tab on the main screen. In this section, you’ll discover various statistics, including your performance in Bounty Hunt and Soul Survivor.
Another location where you can access your KDA is the game lobby. After that, press the spacebar and select “Inspect Equipment”. This action will open the menu displaying your team’s loadouts, traits, and statistics. However, it is uncertain if this panel shows accurate data. In my instance, the value displayed here does not correspond to that from the Progression tab. It might be that the information presented is from a particular time frame rather than the entire game.
How to check your MMR?
In the earlier version of Hunt Showdown, your Matchmaking Rank (MMR) was displayed in the lobby. Following an update, though, this detail has been moved from that location. Now, you can view it by navigating to the ‘Last Mission’ under the ‘Home’ tab.
