‘Prison Break’ Reboot Pilot Casts Emily Browning, Lukas Gage, Drake Rodger

The “Prison Break” reboot pilot at Hulu has added three series regulars, EbMaster has learned.

I’m thrilled to share that Emily Browning, Lukas Gage, and Drake Rodger have secured leading roles for an upcoming pilot series! This exciting project, originally unveiled in December, is set in the same universe as the iconic “Prison Break,” but promises a fresh narrative with entirely new characters. Though specifics about the plot are being carefully guarded, I can’t wait to see these talented actors bring their unique charm and skill to life on screen!

Browning stars as Cassidy Collins, a former soldier who transitions to becoming a corrections officer and accepts a post at one of America’s most dangerous prisons. Gage will portray Jackson, a political newcomer from an affluent background running for his initial term in Congress. Rodger takes on the role of Tommy, an inmate serving time in one of America’s deadliest prisons, who was imprisoned ten years ago.

Lately, Browning has been featured in series such as “Class of ’07” on FX, “The Affair” on Showtime, and “American Gods” on Starz. Her latest film, “One More Shot,” was recently screened at SXSW. Additionally, she has acted in films like “Legend”, “Sleeping Beauty”, “Sucker Punch”, and “Shangri-La Suite”.

She is repped by UTA, CP Artist Management, Signpost and Jackoway Austen Tyerman.

Recently, Gage has made a significant impact in the television industry with appearances on HBO’s “The White Lotus” and “Euphoria.” He has also starred in the fourth season of “You,” “Dead Boy Detectives,” and the fifth season of “Fargo.” In cinema, he is recognized for roles in “Companion,” “How to Blow Up a Pipeline,” “Smile 2,” and “Road House.”
