Fans can look forward to the return of a popular animated series on Amazon Prime Video this month. The show, based on the comic book series by Robert Kirkman, is rated for mature audiences and features J.K. Simmons as a voice actor. The new season will continue the story immediately following the events of the Season 3 finale, which aired in March 2025.

Invincible Season 4 is very close to its streaming launch
The fourth season of Invincible is coming to Amazon Prime Video on March 18, 2026. The release date was announced earlier this year along with a new trailer. Like past seasons, Season 4 will have eight episodes. The first three episodes will be released all at once, and then new episodes will be added each week.
Robert Kirkman and Simon Racioppa are back to lead the new season. This installment will cover the Viltrumite War storyline, which pits popular characters against a powerful alien empire in an epic space battle. The trailer suggests that the hero, Mark Grayson, will surprisingly join forces with his former enemy, his father Omni-Man, to combat the Viltrumites.
The voice cast for Invincible Season 4 is packed with stars, including Steven Yeun, J.K. Simmons, Sandra Oh, Gillian Jacobs, Grey DeLisle, Seth Rogen, and Zazie Beetz. Joining them are new cast members Matthew Rhys, Lee Pace, and Danai Gurira, who will voice the characters Dinosaurus, Thragg, and Universa, respectively.
Since it first appeared on March 26, 2021, Invincible has been incredibly well-received by both viewers and critics, even with its graphic content. The show boasts a 99% rating on Rotten Tomatoes’ Tomatometer and a 92% audience score, and has also been nominated for two Primetime Emmy Awards.
