Pregnant wife defends husband after he goes viral wheeling Xbox & TV into labor ward

The wife stands up for her spouse, who gained internet fame for pushing an Xbox into the delivery room at the hospital.

Back in May, I, a soon-to-be dad, made quite an impression online when my wife, Maria, shared a trending TikTok video of me rolling in carts loaded with supplies – even an Xbox! – right into the delivery room. You could say I was extra prepared for this parenting gig.

I’m thrilled to share that my latest video has been watched an astounding 5.4 million times, leaving spectators utterly puzzled! One viewer even jokingly commented, ‘Kudos on juggling parenthood with two little ones!'”

“It’s mind-blowing to see that my video has been watched a staggering 5.4 million times, leaving viewers utterly bewildered! One wag humorously commented, ‘You’re a pro at parenting twins!’

“Bringing an Xbox to the hospital when your kid is being born is craaaazyyyy,” another chimed in.

Yet, Maria wouldn’t just stand by while the internet attacked her husband unfairly. Instead, she clarified the entire situation in another video.

Wife reveals why husband brought Xbox into hospital after backlash

As stated by Maria, she along with her spouse, Christopher, had been striving to delay the birth of their child until the due date of June 25th, and they hadn’t anticipated having a premature baby in April. This means that in April, they were not ready for the arrival of their baby.

As I returned home after a lengthy hospital stay, my spouse made it clear that we wouldn’t find ourselves short on essentials again, the next time around. They vowed to ensure we were well-stocked beforehand.

As I wheeled in the boxes, they held much more than just gaming gear. They were packed with treats, hygiene essentials, and other thoughtful items meant to ease the hospital experience. It was a heartwarming display of care that extended beyond my usual gaming supplies.

She remarked, “It’s surprising that some people are troubled by his thorough preparations.” However, just mentioning that he had a gaming system doesn’t imply he was using it to play games. In fact, he hasn’t used it at all yet. The only time we utilized it was last night when we watched a movie together for a short while.

It seems unjustified to demand that he should improve his treatment towards me during my labor, especially when others are criticizing him so harshly while I’m giving birth.

Moreover, Maria stated that it’s none of anyone’s concern whether he plays video games, as her husband puts in a great deal of effort at work.

Fortunately, the couple remains unfazed by the negative reactions, and now, their newborn boy can return home at last.

On occasion, there’s been overlap between the world of video games and medical institutions. For instance, in 2022, a surgeon’s post showing himself operating during a live game debate stirred controversy on platform X.
