YouTube personality James Lucas Condon (also known as The Stradman) marked the launch of his pizzeria by hosting an enormous car exhibition which required police assistance.
Despite being located in Utah, James and his associate, Freddy Nguyen, inaugurated their pizzeria, Strad Pizza, in Arizona during the middle of April 2025.
For the inaugural event, the automobile-centric YouTube personality arranged an outdoor car exhibition and fan gathering at their store, drawing crowds of thousands and displaying vehicles valued at millions.
DailyDrivenExotics, a popular YouTube channel focusing on cars, traveled from California to attend the grand opening of Strad Pizza. They provided an aerial perspective of the large-scale event. However, not too much later, law enforcement officials showed up at the scene.
Thousands flock to Stradman’s pizza shop opening
At an event, Damon Fryer – a partner in DDE – captured himself arriving on video, and almost instantly, enthusiasts from his personal YouTube channel swarmed around him.
Slowly navigating through a throng of enthusiastic fans, Fryer carefully maneuvered his vehicle into a parking space. Upon arrival, he mentioned that the journey had taken more than an hour.
The YouTube personality continued by mentioning that he observed individuals up on the rooftop of the shopping center, snapping pictures of the happening, while a massive crowd swarmed around the pizzeria.
“This is absolute chaos, my god. People are on the roof trying to film,” he said.
Because the event turned out to be larger than expected, it didn’t take much time before the police showed up to manage the crowd and direct traffic flowing into and out of the parking area.
Some people claimed the gathering was dispersed by the police upon their arrival, yet DDE’s footage demonstrated otherwise. When he chose to depart later in the evening, it was evident from his video that the crowd was still assembled outside Stradman’s Pizza Shop.
Despite the large number of people and police, Damon still couldn’t resist trying Strad’s Pizza. As a DDE YouTuber, he took a moment to sample it before departing, imitating Dave Portnoy’s “one bite” pizza review style, ultimately giving the food a 7.7 rating.
