Pokopia players warn of “Team Rocket” griefers destroying Cloud Islands

Players of the game Pokopia are alerting the community to a group of disruptive players who are entering Cloud Islands and deliberately ruining other players’ creations. They’re using cannons to fire Electrodes, causing significant damage to these unique builds.

A player named M.K.R. shared footage of an incident where three other players entered his Cloud Island and immediately began destroying buildings used to summon legendary Pokémon.

The video shows players landing on an island with a group of Electrode Pokémon. They immediately start building cannons and then launch the Electrode at the Abandoned Power Plant. This plant is a temporary structure players build themselves with a special kit, and building it is how they summon the legendary Pokémon, Zapdos.

🚨 Wanted: The “Bomber” Gang 🚨

A notorious group has been attacking builds in Pokoa! They’re breaking into members-only servers and destroying the “Three Birds Shrine” – a build that, once destroyed, cannot be rebuilt.

Please carefully consider where you build your shrines, as this destruction is permanent.✨

Pokopia griefers target one-time-only builds

Once constructed, this building is difficult to replace if damaged. Although it could be rebuilt block by block, the construction kit is a one-time use item, so players generally try to keep the finished structure safe and sound.

The attackers launched several projectiles from the cannons, causing damage to the structures before the island’s owner blocked access and halted further destruction. But the problem wasn’t fully resolved.

M.K.R. reported that the group then went after another unusual location on the island – the Altar of Fire, where players can make the legendary Pokémon Moltres appear.

The group repeatedly fired Electrode from cannons at the building, breaking blocks and flooding the shrine with lava in an effort to completely destroy it. Eventually, M.K.R. shut down the server to remove the attackers from the island and prevent further destruction.

Pokopia players find incidents like these particularly annoying because of how the game saves progress. While the frequent autosaves are meant to protect players from losing work, they also preserve any unwanted changes made by other players. Unfortunately, there’s no way to disable the autosave feature.

So, if my base gets wrecked in an attack, it’s totally gone – no undo button! I have to rebuild everything, brick by brick, which is a real pain.

After the video spread online, many players started playfully comparing the attackers to Team Rocket from Pokémon, suggesting they appear suddenly to create trouble on Cloud Islands and then vanish.

Okay, so everyone’s saying be super careful about who you let visit your Cloud Islands right now. Especially if you’re working on building those special structures – the ones that let you encounter legendary Pokémon. Apparently, people are worried about others messing with your builds, so protect your stuff!
