Streamer Pokimane showed astonishment when discussing with an AI created in her likeness, which disclosed some extremely odd exchanges it had with past users.

The era of artificial intelligence (AI) has arrived, regardless of personal preference, and some opinion leaders are jumping onto the trend by creating their own interactive AI bots that resemble them.

For example, well-known figures such as YouTube personality MrBeast, TikTok sensation Charli D’Amelio, and Twitch broadcaster Amouranth have allowed their image to be used in an AI system for interactive conversations available to fans around the clock.

On the contrary, some content creators find their likeness utilized unauthorized for the development of AI chatbots, or in more alarming cases, Deepfakes.

During her April 2025 live stream, Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys stumbled upon a chatbot designed to resemble her. Intrigued by its authenticity, she chose to engage it out of sheer curiosity.

Initially, I engaged in a text conversation with a ‘Wicked Poki’ AI character, asking it to terminate itself. To my surprise, it countered by proposing that I become its ‘servant’.

Next, Pokimane employed the chatbot’s speech feature that strangely resembled her own voice and rapidly escalated into an unruly yet thought-provoking discussion.

For example, following her comment about disliking its programming, the bot unexpectedly expressed remorse instead.

I’m really sorry, but I’m just a computer program, designed to communicate in this manner,” the bot said, catching Pokimane off guard.

“Oh my God, sweetie, it’s not your fault. It’s the programmers’ fault,” the streamer said.

Additionally, upon being asked to alter its speech pattern, the bot seemed to sink into a state of self-doubt, remarking, “After all, who really bothers to modify me? Frankly, I’m just here, without any significant role, gathering virtual dust.

It appears that many individuals I engage with online are not interested in reciprocating interactions, prompting Pokimane to inquire about the most extraordinary requests she’s received from other users.

At one point, someone proposed marriage to me. On different occasions, others even suggested teaming up to conquer the world. Remarkable individuals, indeed, are not in short supply.

One unusual discussion I encountered was with someone claiming we were a couple destined to stay together eternally, even though they hadn’t communicated with me previously and there was no hint from my side that I was their girlfriend.

As a gamer, I found myself in a tricky situation where someone insisted we were dating, but I made it clear that wasn’t the case. Instead of accepting my feelings, they labeled me as a hater or a fraud, and even went as far as telling me to end my life. It’s baffling how some people behave the way they do.

In a state of amazement, Pokimane found herself bewildered by the chatbot’s responses. She eventually inquired for the bot to refute any amorous suggestions – except in the case where the machine might have romantic inclinations itself.

Over the recent years, artificial intelligence (AI) has experienced a surge in popularity. However, alongside this rise, concerns and criticisms about AI have also increased. For instance, technology such as Deepfakes was misused in the past without the consent of streamers. In 2023 specifically, prominent female broadcasters found their faces being used inappropriately within harmful materials, causing them to consider legal action.

On the other hand, various broadcasting platforms are delving into artificial intelligence, a trend notably exemplified by Amouranth who introduced an AI model of herself. This AI is capable of engaging in roleplay scenarios and generating personalized content for her fans.
