Poker Face Season 2: John Mulaney and Cynthia Erivo Join Star-Studded Cast in Spring Release

The comeback of Charlie Cale has been confirmed, with the second season of “Poker Face” set to debut this coming spring, according to a recent announcement from Peacock.

Additionally, the streamer shared several sneak peeks of Rian Johnson’s weekly mystery show, featuring Natasha Lyonne portraying a detective by default with a unique knack for discerning dishonesty.

The promotional images proudly showcase a star-studded roster of guest appearances for the upcoming 12-episode Season 2, featuring John Mulaney striking a pose next to an airplane and Cynthia Erivo portrayed as one of five sextuplets each wearing unique outfits.

In Season 2 of “Poker Face”, we’ll see performances from an array of talented stars, including Alia Shawkat, Awkwafina, Ben Marshall, B.J. Novak, Carol Kane, Cliff ‘Method Man’ Smith, Corey Hawkins, David Krumholtz, Davionte ‘GaTa’ Ganter, Ego Nwodim, Gaby Hoffmann, Giancarlo Esposito, Haley Joel Osment, Jason Ritter, John Cho, Justin Theroux, Kathrine Narducci, Katie Holmes, Kevin Corrigan, Kumail Nanjiani, Margo Martindale, Menalie Lynskey, Patti Harrison, Sam Richardson, Sherry Cola, Simon Rex, and many others.

Charlie Cale is once again evading capture, and this season we’ve escalated her adventure filled with one intriguing murder case after another. From the minor leagues of baseball to the large retail stores, from funeral homes to alligator farms and even a school talent show, Charlie embarks on her crime-solving odyssey with her unique blend of dry humor, compassion for humanity, and exceptional lie-detecting skills,” Johnson and Lyonne stated jointly.

For its initial run, “Poker Face” was nominated for a total of four Emmys, and ultimately claimed victory in one category: Judith Light’s exceptional guest acting performance in a comedy series earned her the award.

Tony Tost serves as the producer of “Poker Face,” working alongside Ram Bergman, Nena Rodrigue, Adam Arkin, Nora Zuckerman, and Lilla Zuckerman in a producing capacity. T-Street and MRC serve as the production studios, while T-Street and Animal Pictures take on the role of producers for this show.
