According to reports, the upcoming Pokemon TCG expansion, known as Black Bolt and White Flair, is expected to have significant supply issues upon its release, with certain retailers not receiving any product at all.

After all, fresh expansions and cards are frequently introduced into the game, such as the well-known Prismatic Evolutions. According to Pokebeach’s initial report, based on conversations with distributors, the upcoming sets featuring Black Bolt and White Flare are expected to have significantly fewer allocations compared to Prismatic Evolutions. The reduction is so drastic that many stores might not even receive these products at all.
As stated by TPCi, The Pokemon Company is deliberately taking this action to address the backlog of popular, high-demand collections, such as Surging Sparks and Prismatic Evolutions. These sets have faced numerous supply problems and instances of reselling, according to reports.
It’s going to be quite difficult to obtain the Black Bolt and White Flare Pokemon TCG expansion in July, but fortunately, unless you plan to buy it on the day of release, there will be opportunities to get the product later in the year. This is because sets are continuously printed for a two-year period.
