In a post on April 5th, the woman revealed the proposal happened in Japan, the country where Pokémon originated. Her partner used a special Master Ball – the franchise’s signature purple Poké Ball with an ‘M’ on top – to propose.
The Master Ball is a popular item that Pokémon fans have loved since the very beginning – appearing in the original Red and Blue games. It instantly captures any Pokémon you use it on, and players often saved it for especially rare and powerful Pokémon like Mewtwo or the Legendary Birds.
