Nintendo recently disclosed specifics about the forthcoming free updates for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening Remake, and The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom on the Switch 2.

As a gamer, I’m excited to share that depending on the game, we can expect some sweet enhancements such as better visuals, smoother performance, and even High Dynamic Range (HDR) support. And just to make this gaming experience even better, Nintendo has confirmed that both Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will receive visual optimizations for improved image quality, as well as frame rate improvements.

As an ardent fan, I’m eagerly anticipating the visual enhancements of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening Remake and The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. While there’s no word yet on frame rate improvements for these games, I can only hope that the unlimited frame rate will be optimized to a steady 60fps on the upcoming Switch 2.
