Pokemon Scarlet And Violet: How To Get These Shiny Legendary Pokemon

Fans of Pokémon can look forward to capturing some legendary shimmering Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet soon. The radiant versions of the four Treasures of Ruin – Wo-Chien, Chien-Pao, Ting-Lu, Chi-Yu – will be appearing in five-star Terastallize raids over the coming weeks. However, securing them requires a bit of effort.

Instead of capturing shiny legendary Pokemon immediately following their defeat in past raid events, the Shiny Treasure of Ruin events operate under a new system. In these events, defeated Pokemon will escape after being defeated. However, if players collectively manage to defeat each Pokemon a total of one million times before the event concludes, they’ll receive the shiny legendary Pokemon as Mystery Gifts.

The exciting sequence of events begins on July 22, featuring the radiant Wo-Chien, followed by additional Treasures of Ruin spreading out across August and September. How To Join Tera Raids

To participate in an event raid, first ensure that your game is running the most recent version. Once you’ve launched either Scarlet or Violet, press the X button to open the menu, navigate to Poke Portal, and select Check Poke Portal News. Subsequently, the newest event Pokemon should start showing up in your game.

As soon as you’re all caught up, you’ll be able to discover event raid spots sprawling across Paldea, Kitakami, and Blueberry Academy regions. Unlike your usual events, these shiny Treasures of Ruin will be formidable five-star raid bosses, making them a tad less daunting compared to other special raids. However, for the best odds of victory, it’s always wise to join forces with fellow gamers online!

4. Follow the on-screen instructions to receive your free shiny legendary Pokémon!

Additional perks might be offered based on players’ success levels. Once a player surpasses the first million wins, The Pokemon Company will award a Tera Shard Set for every 100,000 victories after that, which includes 40 Tera Shards.

If you don’t take part in these raid events now, there might still be a possibility for you to acquire the lustrous Treasures of Ruin later on. The Pokemon Company hints that these legendary Pokemon could appear in upcoming events or be obtained through alternative means instead.

The glittering Treasures of Ruin story arcs are building towards the upcoming release of the sequel in the Pokemon series, titled Pokemon Legends: Z-A. This new game will be playable on both the original Nintendo Switch and the newly launched Switch 2, hitting shelves on October 16. The game’s narrative unfolds entirely within Lumiose City, which is undergoing a renovation to create a harmonious living space for both humans and Pokemon.
