Okay, so Pokémon Pokopia is still pretty new, but they’re already doing some crazy stuff! Apparently, there’s a special IKEA event coming to the game on April 1st. I can’t even imagine what that’s going to look like, but I’m definitely checking it out!
Pokémon Pokopia is a relaxing game that regularly adds new things to do through limited-time events. These events are designed to encourage players to buy the game quickly, as they don’t want to miss out on exclusive content. For example, when the game first launched, there was a Hoppip event where players collected cotton spores on Dream Islands and traded them at the Pokémon Center for special items.
Pokémon Pokopia is hosting its first event that isn’t about catching Pokémon! Instead, it’s focused on building furniture. IKEA has partnered with the game to create a special event where players can explore a Cloud Island designed to look like an IKEA store.
Pokémon Pokopia IKEA Island Launches April 1

From April 1st to May 10th, 2026, Pokémon and IKEA are teaming up for a special event! Players can visit a unique Cloud Island featuring rooms inspired by Pokémon like Pikachu and Snorlax. By taking pictures of the furniture and items they find, players can use the 3D Printer at the Pokémon Center to get those items and even build the rooms themselves.
Just so you know, the IKEA collaboration doesn’t introduce any new items or Pokémon to the game. It only features a specially designed area created by professional players.
From April 1st to May 10th, 2026, Pokémon players can participate in a special event featuring IKEA. As part of this event, a unique Cloud Island will be available, with rooms designed around popular Pokémon like Pikachu and Snorlax.
Japanese Pokémon fans are in for a treat! IKEA is bringing the popular Pokémon rooms from Cloud Island to life in select stores, and they’ll be selling special Pokémon-themed food, like a Tangrowth chocolate pudding. If you’ve ever dreamed of trying it, you might want to start planning a trip to Japan!

Pokémon Pokopia’s imaginative design makes collaborations like these simple to create. People can share their personal islands online, and lots of Ditto Pokémon can playfully observe their building attempts. Let’s hope future collaborations bring truly new features instead of just reshuffling existing items.
