It’s understandable to overlook the fact that Pokémon Legends: Z-A offers gifts through Mystery Gift. With so much happening in the game, particularly with the added DLC, it’s easy to miss out on a code-based reward.
Besides the simple online rewards, there’s a hidden code waiting to be used. Here’s how to get it, and the deadline for claiming it.
Pokémon Legends Z-A Free Gift Still Available
It Takes A Few Seconds To Claim
There’s currently a special promotion for the Alpha Charizard, but it won’t last forever! You need to redeem it before January 19, 2026.
As a reminder, here are the steps to redeem Mystery Gifts in Pokémon Legends: Z-A:
- Head to the Link Play section of the main menu
- Select Mystery Gift
- Select “get with code/password”
- Enter the code below exactly how it’s shown

You don’t need to complete the whole form to get your free Alpha Charizard! You can leave some sections blank, and it will be delivered to your game right away – no extra tasks needed.
You’ll Want To Claim It While You Can
There’s Only A Short Window Left
Don’t forget, you only have until around mid-January to get your Alpha Charizard! Make sure to log in to Pokémon Legends: Z-A whenever you have a chance to claim it quickly.
As a note, the Alpha Charizard has the following moves and is level 36:
- Dragon Claw
- Flamethrower
- Solar Beam
- Air Slash
If you’re around level 30 in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, now’s a great time to add Charizard to your main team. Similar to recent Pokémon games, Charizard can Mega Evolve into two different forms, and getting those Mega Evolutions is pretty straightforward.
To get each stone, you’ll need 100,000 Poke Dollars, but you can easily earn that by selling items and treasures you don’t need. The Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Mega Dimension DLC makes this even easier, as it provides plenty of items through Hyperspace portals that you can sell. Because you can only use one stone at a time, you can just pick the form you prefer and save the others for later.

You can even get a free Mewtwo to give you a boost when you begin the new downloadable content!
