Pokemon Go’s Next Season, Delightful Days, Starts June 3 And Adds More New Gen 8 And 9 Pokemon

The exciting season of Pokemon Go’s Might and Mastery is coming to an end, but get ready for a brand-new adventure starting June 3! That’s when the Delightful Days season begins, bringing even more fresh Pokemon, several new Gigantamax transformations, and much more right into your mobile game.

In the coming months, Pokemon that originate from the Galar, Hisui, and Paldea regions (the backdrops of the eighth and ninth generation games in the Pokemon series) will make their debut in Pokemon Go. Among these newcomers are Yamper, Hisuian Lilligant, Tatsugiri, and additional Pokemon. Meanwhile, familiar faces such as Charcadet, Frigibax, and Galarian Ponyta will start showing up in the wild and as Research Breakthrough rewards.

As a die-hard fan, I’m thrilled to share that we’re about to see more Gigantamax Pokémon joining our game! The trio of events leading up to Pokémon Go Fest 2025 will introduce the Gigantamax forms of Rillaboom, Cinderace, and Inteleon. Additionally, throughout the season, Max Battles will feature Dynamax forms of Hatenna and other Pokémon! This promises an exciting expansion to our gaming experience.

Excitedly speaking as a die-hard fan, I can’t contain my enthusiasm as more exciting events approach! Just like always, Pokemon Go has planned several Community Days for its upcoming season. Although the specific Pokemon that will be in the spotlight haven’t been disclosed yet, here are the confirmed dates for these special events:

  • June Community Day: June 21
  • July Community Day Classic: July 5-6
  • July Community Day: July 20
  • August Community Day: August 30

Beyond that, the game will provide numerous in-game perks throughout the entire season. For instance, you’ll earn extra experience points for your first catch each day, along with fresh stickers, Research missions, and a variety of unique in-game activities. For further details about the new season, check out the official Pokemon Go website.

The month of June promises a lot of excitement for Pokemon Go players! Starting with the Delightful Days season, the game will organize in-person Pokemon Go Fest events in Osaka, Jersey City, and Paris, with a global event to follow on June 28-29. Before this global event, the game is planning a reoccurrence of every legendary giant for an Ancients Recovered event from June 23-27.
