Pokemon Go Fest Heads To Paris This Summer

Once more, Pokémon Go is up and about and making its way towards the City of Light. The creators behind Pokémon Go, Niantic, have shared that the global festivities known as Pokémon Go Fest are bound for Paris, France. Trainers from every corner of the globe are cordially invited to join in on this grand celebration.

Through the official Pokemon Go website, we’re announcing that Pokemon Go Fest: Paris is set for June 13-15 in the beautiful city of Paris and Parc de Sceaux. If you want to secure your spot early, tickets are now available as of March 6, with prices increasing on April 2. During this event, we’ll be introducing Volcanion for the first time ever in Pokemon Go! Each ticket holder will receive special research about this fascinating creature and have a chance to encounter it.

During Five Star Raids, participants will be among the first to encounter new versions of Zacian (Crowned Sword) and Zamazenta (Crowned Shield). This is similar to past Pokemon Go Fest events where Niantic has designed a special route allowing players to explore Paris’ iconic landmarks while catching rare Pokemon. At the Parc de Sceaux, players can expect real-life Pokemon habitats featuring mascots and trainers, engage in PVP battles, and purchase unique merchandise.

Lena Cillis, Pokémon GO Live Events Marketing Manager, stated that Paris’ enchanting allure, its walkable nature, and iconic global landmarks make it an ideal setting for Pokémon GO Fest. We can’t wait to watch trainers traverse this stunning city and the picturesque Parc de Sceaux, interacting with France’s passionate community and visitors from far and wide.

Previously announced, the Pokemon Go Fest tour will make stops in Osaka, Japan from May 29th to June 1st and Jersey City, New Jersey from June 6th to 8th. Subsequently, Niantic will organize a global Pokemon Go Fest event on June 28th and 29th following the Pokemon Go Fest in Paris.

If you’re searching for activities to engage in earlier rather than later, Niantic has already announced the events lined up for March in Pokemon Go. Meanwhile, outside of Pokemon Go, the CEO of The Pokemon Company, Tsunekazu Ishihara, has hinted that the franchise might face a decline if they were to lose their concentration. However, so far, there’s no indication of this happening. In other exciting news, the upcoming Pokemon game for Nintendo Switch, Pokemon Legends Z-A, has revealed some of its starter Pokemons before its scheduled release later this year.
