I don’t know if this is unique to my controller or a bug in the game.

All missing word locations in The Plucky Squire
Wondering where to find the missing words in The Plucky Squire?
Chapter One: THE GATE SWUNG OPEN
Behind the bush on the page’s left lies “GATE”, while “OPEN” is concealed in a tree at the extreme right. To make those words appear, simply give the tree a whack.

All rearranging puzzle solutions in The Plucky Squire
If you encounter a word swap puzzle, don’t worry! The following list includes all the rearrangement puzzles found in The Plucky Squire, along with their solutions.
Chapter Two: HERE WAS A SECLUDED FOREST/RUIN
Upon arriving at this page, you’ll find yourself face-to-face with Topsy the cat. He indicates that you can strike specific words to eliminate them from a sentence. Feel free to take a swipe at the word “FOREST” for this particular challenge.
To obtain the key, you should deliver Topsy’s cookies to that location – it’s situated on the rightmost part of the map.
In the video, it appears that you can’t pass through the dense forest. Instead, you should follow the edge of the map, drop the biscuits at the initial location, and insert the word “RUIN” in the spot previously marked as “FOREST.
Keep moving the cookies towards the second spot, swap the term with “FOREST” instead, then continue moving the cookies again.
If you transform the word once again into “RUIN”, you’ll manage to move the biscuits towards Topsy. Afterward, Topsy will flip over and uncover the key.
Chapter Two: THESE BOOKS HAD BEEN PURPOSEFULLY STACKED
Following the monsters’ defeat, locate the key positioned at the left edge of the two-page spread. Carry it towards the door situated on the right side and open that part. Tap on the word “SCATTERED” and gather it.
Drop it in the center for a moment to switch the word “STACKED” out with “SCATTERED.”
I needed a moment to solve the next piece of the puzzle, but all you have to do is move the word “STACKED” towards the papers located in the upper right corner. Once positioned there, they will create a block that can be moved over the gap near the exit. Cross over it, and you’ve completed the task!
Chapter Four: A HUGE BUG SAT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PATH
Spend a few moments here. Use the term “GIGANTIC” instead, and place it on the book’s left side. Overcome all the monsters to bring down the door.
Go through the portal on the left page, and come back in through the portal on the right page.
Defeat all the monsters in the empty moat.
Take the word “CLOSED” out of the sentence by the gate.
Move to the right side of the colossal insect, grab the word “FULL” through the portals, and transport it across the moat. After crossing the moat, operate the switch that was previously inaccessible. This action should cause the door at the bottom of the moat to open or move slightly.
Replace the term “FILL” with “EMPTY (or DRAIN)” to refill the moat, which was previously drained. This action will expose a small creature and create a new sentence featuring the word “OPEN.
Take the word “OPEN” to the gate sentence and place it in the empty spot.
With the gate now open, you can approach the large frog. Grab the word “TINY” and replace it with “HUGE”. This transformation will make the frog, as you might expect, grow massive. Once it does, you’ll earn an achievement. Instead, move the word “TINY” to where the obstacle, a giant bug, is currently blocking your path.
Chapter Four: A TINY LILYPAD FLOATED ON THE WATER
Remove the term “tiny” from your sentence and proceed through the portal. Flip the pages backwards two times on the spread where you transformed the bug into a small size and enlarged the frog.
Re-enter the site via the gateway, find the word “HUGE” near the frog, and then exit the book by returning to reality. (Using a more colloquial and conversational tone)
Turn the pages again so that you’re at the lilypad page and enter through the portal.
Insert the term “massive” in the blank, and observe how the lily pad covers nearly half of the waterway.
Chapter Four: IT WAS NOW NIGHT IN THE SWAMPS
There’s quite a bit of to-ing and fro-ing with the swampy-night riddle. Kill off the monsters, dash to the right corner, then ascend the staircase to reach the portal.
Flip the page back once, find the term “DAYTIME,” then transfer it to the page with the croaking frogs. Replace the word “NIGHT” with it. This way, the frogs will become active and eventually fall asleep.
In this area on the left, vanquish the monsters, then move the block upward to activate the button that will lower the yellow door.
As a gamer, I’ll navigate the platform towards the right where the portal is located. Then, I’ll switch the daytime setting to night, and finally, I’ll replace the broken bridge sentence with SOLID.
At present, you should relocate the block you moved to lower the yellow door and position it behind the frog that obstructs your way to the bridge during daylight hours. However, to prevent the frog from moving onto the path, you need to move this block behind the frog only at night.
Change it back to daytime, move the block, walk over the bridge, and down the stairs. Done.

How to get Light Bulbs for Martina in The Plucky Squire
As a daring gamer, I gather Light Bulbs in the captivating world of Plucky Squire. Once I’ve amassed enough of these luminescent tokens, I can visit Martina, the savvy vendor who sets up her traveling store at various points during my journey. There, I can purchase valuable items to aid me on my quest.
As you journey towards Tome Tower, you’ll encounter Martina and her shop first – an event that happens subsequent to picking up the beeswax from Moonbeard, the local wizard, at the beginning of the game.
In Martina’s initial store, labeled “THE GATE SWUNG OPEN”, there are only two offerings: a fresh Sword Throw Badge valued at 30 Light Bulbs and an Art Scroll worth 20 Light Bulbs. As you progress through more stores, the items will have greater costs, but it’s important to note that Art Scrolls consistently cost 20 Light Bulbs whenever Martina possesses them.
Light Bulbs can be found around the map by:
- Defeating monsters.
- Hitting trees with your sword.
- Destroying bushes with your sword.
- Exploring Sam’s desk in the real world.
- Destroying bushes and trees on Sam’s desk in the real world.
It would be best to carry out each of these tasks on every page of the story if you want to ensure you have enough content for Martina’s items as you progress with Jot’s tale.
This peculiar game titled “The Plucky Squire” combines elements of visual novels and platformers, offering an amusing and cheerful gaming experience that is hard to resist.
