Pixel-art RPG Quartet launches on August 26 for PC

Classic Games has revealed that the game Quartet is set to debut on August 25th, and it will be available for purchase on platforms like Steam, GOG, and Epic for PC users.

As an enthusiast, I’d put it like this: I’m smitten by “Quartet,” a captivating indie turn-based role-playing game with a pixel-art flair. It offers four distinct narratives that you can explore at your own pace. Better yet, there’s a demo accessible on its Steam page!

Below, you’ll find a trailer, description, and screenshots for the upcoming game, provided by Something Classic Games. For more information, visit their official website located here.

Story

A series of train robberies leads to evidence of a government conspiracy. A mysterious deck of cards gives a young girl a vision of another world. A fleet of deadly airships burns a path across the Imperial frontier. The world’s unlikeliest hero manifests tremendous magical power. These stories intertwine in the world of Quartet. Before it is all over, the eight heroes will uncover how a secret, centuries-old conflict literally reshaped the world. Then they will have their own decision to make about the destiny of magic.

Combat

In this game setup, eight characters engage in sequential battles against adversaries. At any given time, a player can put forth four characters onto the field, but has the option to switch these active characters with any of the remaining reserves. The freshly introduced reserve characters can jump right into combat by taking a turn immediately. While characters are benched, they recover their action points (AP), enabling strategic players to keep dishing out powerful attacks without pause, creating an unending series of top-tier assaults against the enemy.
