Eastasiasoft has revealed that they will be releasing the retro pixel art JRPG, Starlight Legacy, onto consoles starting from May 28th. A physical version is also scheduled to launch on certain platforms later on.
The game “Starlight Legacy,” created by Decafesoft, was introduced on PC in February, and it’s set to roll out for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on May 28th. Details regarding the physical release will be shared soon. For console players, “Starlight Legacy” will retail at $12.99 digitally, offering a 20% discount during launch. The game supports multiple languages including English, French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.

Indie studio Eastasiasoft Limited has declared that the retro pixel art JRPG titled Starlight Legacy will officially debut on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on May 28th, 2025. They’ve also hinted at a physical release for certain platforms, with further details to be revealed in the coming weeks.
Reminiscent of timeless 16-bit era genres, Starlight Legacy blends nostalgic vintage appeal with contemporary gameplay techniques and sharp high-definition visuals. The narrative revolves around three characters unknowingly drawn into a catastrophic struggle. In this adventure, players can roam freely through the realm, collecting artifacts to revive the Eternity Tree. Each of the four provinces can be explored in any sequence as players enhance their party’s abilities, interact with townspeople, confront creatures, engage in 3D flight sequences, and uncover hidden treasures scattered throughout the vast map.
Originally created by Decafesoft, the game titled Starlight Legacy is globally distributed by Eastasiasoft Limited. Its digital price is fixed at $12.99 or €12.99. For certain regions and platforms, a 20% discount will be offered during launch.
