This October, you can get your hands on “Piano Fantasies” – an album reimagining tunes from video games like Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and other titles by Square Enix, available both on CD and vinyl formats.
Mischa Cheung is responsible for playing a collection of 12 freshly rearranged tracks on this album. Additionally, you’ll find updated renditions of No Promises to Keep (from Final Fantasy VII Rebirth), To Far Away Times (from Chrono Trigger), Fear of the Heaves (from Secret of Mana), and Edge of Existence (from Kingdom Hearts) within it as well.
Currently, you can pre-order this album in Japan through this link and in Europe through this one. Unfortunately, it is not available yet on Square Enix’s North American or European online stores. The release date for Japan is October 31, with shipping from Black Screen Records scheduled for the same month.
