Pi Network’s Extended Deadline: A Journey to 2025! 🕰️

Headline so shocking, it’ll make you forget about your Monday blues!

  • Pi Network postpones KYC and migration deadline to 2025! 💫
  • Amidst delays, the project sees growing interest and bustling community gatherings! 💥

What’s the latest buzz?

The Pi Network, the cryptocurrency project promising digital asset mining on smartphones, has made yet another announcement. This time, it’s an extension of their long-awaited native token launch and open mainnet. So, what happened to the initial deadline? Well…

Months ago, Pi Network claimed that the grand milestones would be reached once 15 million users completed Know-Your-Customer (KYC) verifications and migrated to the mainnet. The deadline, or as they call it, the “Grace Period,” was set for January 31, only to be later moved to February 28, 2025. 😲

“The KYC and Mainnet migration deadlines for the Grace Period have been extended to February 28, 2025, ensuring Pioneers have additional time and opportunity to secure their Pi,” the developers explained.

Could the extension be due to users’ struggles with KYC verification? Pi Network introduced two updates to help users facing rejection due to name mismatches and allowed minor phone number corrections. But, of course, these updates come with a price – a penalty on Mobile Balance. 🧐

As for the Open Network, Pi Network plans to launch it during Q1 of 2025, either before or after the Grace Period ends. Users are encouraged to submit their KYC applications and complete migration procedures as soon as possible. 🚀

The ever-growing Pi Network community…

Amidst the uncertainty and delays, Pi Network’s community continues to expand. Countries like India, Nigeria, and China have recently seen a surge of gatherings. The most recent one? A Pi Network event in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, where “a large number of goods were sold out on site using Pi payment.” 🛍️

Pi Network is also popular in Asian nations like South Korea, Vietnam, Singapore, and Japan. In fact, last year, Pi Network’s South Korean users surpassed 1.3 million, outpacing local customer bases of major exchanges like Binance and Coinbase. 🤯
