Philippine official says “unapologetic” Vitaly already confessed to Kick stream antics

Based on a government official’s statement, streamer Vitaly has admitted to his actions during his time in the Philippines.

In early April, Russian video creator Vitaly Zdorovetskiy was detained due to inciting disorder in the Philippines as part of creating his content.

The contentious individual, who’s been in the spotlight for questionable behavior, was caught on camera appearing to forcefully kiss a security officer, making an attempt to grab a weapon, disturbing local residents, and suspected of theft, among other misdeeds.

Following his arrest, officials announced that Zdorovetskiy would not be expelled but rather tried within the nation itself. However, recent news from an authority figure has added to the streamer’s predicament.

Vitaly has reportedly already confessed as he awaits trial

Although Vitaly is set to face a trial in the country, it’s been reported that he has confessed to his mischievous actions.

Vitaly’s upcoming trial in the country doesn’t seem to have deterred him from admitting to his pranks.

In spite of Vitaly being scheduled for a trial, it appears he’s already owned up to his tricks.

During a national television interview, Undersecretary Donnie Puno of the Department of the Interior and Local Government expressed disapproval towards producing content similar to Vitaly’s within our country. He emphasized that Vitaly himself admitted to all his actions.

In the hearing, it came to light that he confessed to the act. His attorney was present during this confession, so he will be tried in this court and must deal with the ensuing penalties.

As per the insights shared by YouTuber and attorney Legal Mindset, this action could pose significant challenges for Vitaly’s legal team.

The YouTuber humorously stated that the legal term for his circumstance seems to be ‘in a tight spot.’ That’s the contemporary slang used in courtrooms, he added. Clearly, his defense isn’t promising in this situation, and his attorney is limited in the strategies they can employ.

In addition, the Undersecretary emphasized that any claim suggesting Vitaly created problems merely to generate content for online views wouldn’t be considered valid in a court of law.

He produced his work by belittling Filipinos, portraying them as unintelligent,” he stated. “Therefore, we’ll observe the court proceedings and see how it unfolds.

Puno stated that Zdorovetskiy has continued to show no remorse for his live streams, and the government is considering taking action against anyone else attempting such antics. Additionally, he mentioned that there have been talks about imposing regulations on streaming platforms in the Philippines.

For several weeks, the Vitaly controversy has been a hotly debated issue across the nation. It appears that the Philippines is not shying away from pursuing legal action against him. In fact, the country’s president has expressed strong disapproval, stating that Zdorovetskiy’s live streams caused his blood to boil with anger.

Vitaly might not go on trial for some time yet, given that he’s currently confined in jail, referred to as “jail hell,” due to an overload of pending cases and crowded courtrooms.
