PewDiePie blasts KSI for copyright striking YouTubers using his song

As a seasoned gamer with years of experiencing the intricacies of the YouTube and streaming world, I must say that the ongoing drama between PewDiePie and KSI is reminiscent of a never-ending soap opera. The saga of copyright strikes has been a recurring theme in the lives of content creators, causing tension and fueling feuds since time immemorial.

Internet sensation Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg has criticized KSI for issuing copyright claims against content creators who use his latest track, “Thick Of It,” in their streams, as the song continues to trend online due to internet memes.

Copyright striking other creators has always been a touchy subject between YouTubers and streamers over the years. It’s viewed as a nuclear move and, typically, draws even more backlash towards you.

In 2019, copyright disputes sparked some heated conflicts among creators, with Alinity and PewDiePie being a notable example. Alinity took action against PewDiePie by issuing several copyright strikes after he referred to her as a ‘Twitch Thot’ in one of his videos. Subsequently, she targeted other YouTubers who wished to discuss the matter.

Currently, the Swedish individual finds himself in another instance of turmoil, having criticized KSI for attacking those who utilize his song ‘Thick Of It’ in videos or streams without permission.

During his October 14th live stream, Pewdiepie expressed his displeasure by saying, “I don’t listen to KSI’s music. His actions made me angry once more, as he removed my best video ever. Now I’m upset about it again.” He suggested that KSI should focus on composing songs about copyright issues, seeing as that’s all he apparently does every day.

Initially boasting the top-ranked personal channel on YouTube, the Swede eventually yielded and gave a listen to a portion of KSI’s tune. He deemed it as having a “corporate” feel to it.

Pewdiepie wondered whether someone might have encouraged KSI to create that song, or if KSI himself was eager to share it publicly.

It’s worth mentioning that the new song by KSI has received a significant amount of criticism online so far. A game titled ‘Survive KSI’s Song’ was developed, which IShowSpeed showcased during a live stream. In addition, the Sidemen have playfully jabbed at KSI about this very topic.

The lyrics to his song has also become a copypasta on social media. So, it’s not going to disappear anytime soon.
