Pet bunny missing for four years reunites with family on Easter Sunday

A family in Britain was overjoyed to be reunited with their rabbit after it went missing four years ago. The rabbit surprisingly reappeared near their home on Easter Sunday, and the heartwarming story is quickly spreading online.

In 2022, Laura Conway-Norris and her four-year-old daughter, Cora, were heartbroken when their rabbit, Flopsy, went missing.

After searching for weeks, everyone thought the calico bunny had died. Laura was heartbroken and gave away all of its belongings, believing she’d never see her pet again.

On April 5, 2026, Laura saw a picture on her town’s Facebook page of a rabbit that looked just like her own, Flopsy.

Someone saw the bunny eating grass in the area where Laura usually walked her dog. Excited, Laura and her mother quickly went to investigate and found the bunny, named Flopsy, safe and sound, happily munching on grass like everything was normal.

Pet rabbit finds way home after four years missing in the wild

A calico rabbit unexpectedly returned home on Easter Sunday after living independently for four years.

Laura told the Helston Packet that Cora was thrilled to have Flopsy home. She jokingly added that she felt a little guilty about keeping Flopsy indoors after the bunny had spent so many years exploring outside.

She explained they needed to create a huge, expansive space for her at home. “It will need an outdoor area as large as a field just to give her enough room to move around!”

A cat recently became an internet sensation after making an incredible journey home. The feline traveled all the way from Spain to France after accidentally escaping from its owners’ camper during a road trip in late 2025.

In 2026, a dog from New Zealand remarkably survived for a week in the wild after its owner fell down a waterfall while hiking.
