It offers glimpses into the town’s high schools and streets, with fleeting moments of the protagonist dashing through them. What follows is an inevitable plunge into a perplexing mystery narrative as he teams up with companions to tackle enigmatic murders. To unravel these seemingly inexplicable cases, he will also utilize the power of Personas.
The upcoming remake of Persona 4 was already widely anticipated, given that before its official announcement, voice actor Yuri Lowenthal had revealed he wouldn’t be reprising his role as Yosuke Hanamura. In a now-deleted post on BlueSky, Lowenthal clarified, “I regret to say that I won’t be playing Yosuke again in the Persona 4 remake. I asked, I pleaded, but they decided not to have me return.
Additionally, other actors associated with the initial game have expressed that they won’t return, and a domain registration connected to the game further stokes speculation. It’s important to mention that an upgraded version of the original game, Persona 4 Golden, is currently accessible if you don’t wish to wait for the remake.
