After being the subject of speculation for more than a year, the highly anticipated remake of Persona 4 has officially been unveiled. Dubbed as Persona 4 Revival, this exciting update is set to release on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms.
For quite some time now, fans have been eagerly guessing about potential platforms, graphics, and voice actors. Yet, Atlus remained tight-lipped. But as June drew near, hints became increasingly difficult to miss. Various game websites started dropping subtle clues. Some even accidentally leaked the logo. Enthusiasts scrutinized domain registrations and secretive tweets from insiders, in search of any signs.
As the Xbox Summer Game Fest showcase commenced, the anticipation for its unveiling had grown so strong that it seemed almost predestined. The audience eagerly awaited confirmation of what everyone already suspected, and now their wish has been granted: Persona 4 returns, having undergone a complete makeover.
Is there a release date for Persona 4 Remake?
As of now, Atlus hasn’t specified when exactly the remake will be released. All that’s been confirmed is that it’s currently in development. It will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms. At this point, there’s no information about a potential Switch 2 version.

Gameplay & story info
The way we play this game is expected to receive some upgrades. Similar to how Persona 3 Reload was developed, the combat system might feature a more advanced turn-based style, the menus could become more visually appealing, and social links and daily life aspects may appear sleeker and more polished.
Judging from the trailer, it appears that certain areas are bigger now, but as of yet, there’s no official announcement regarding additional content or new characters.
The upcoming remake of Persona 4 appears to be a thoughtful redesign. Fresh graphics, refined gameplay mechanics, and a contemporary vibe are on board. It seems that Atlus is treating this beloved title with the attention it requires. So now, we begin the wait.
