Persona 4 Remake Sounds Like It’s Still A Long Ways Away

Fans of Sega can expect a prolonged anticipation, as two highly-anticipated titles from the publisher, Persona 4 Revival by Atlus and RGG’s Stranger Than Heaven, will not be available for quite some time. The first glimpses of these games were shown earlier this month, but they remain a considerable distance from their release dates. Interestingly, both games are slated to debut either within or after Sega’s 2027 fiscal year, which commences on April 1, 2026.

The news, initially disclosed during a management presentation by Sega earlier this month, outlined their business strategies. However, it seems that the report may have been accidentally published, especially since it included unredacted sales figures, which was later removed from their website. Yet, you can still find the report archived online.

At The Game Awards 2024, Stranger Than Heaven (previously known as Project Century) made its debut. However, during Summer Game Fest 2025, a fresh trailer unveiled the game’s actual title, showcased its gameplay, and provided a sneak peek into its universe. Shortly afterward, Sega announced that a remake of Persona 4 was in development, although specific details about the game are still scarce for the moment.

2025 promises an extended anticipation for both upcoming games, but Sega offers plenty to keep us excited throughout the year. On June 19, Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army debuts, followed by Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 and Shinobi: Art of Vengeance in August, which will be available on PC and consoles.

Once more, Sega’s additional major title, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, finds Sonic in the driver’s seat of a high-speed vehicle, ready to compete against age-old adversaries and even SpongeBob SquarePants, starting in September.
