Atlus has released a new update for Persona 3 Reload on the Switch 2. Version 1.0.3 includes a performance mode when the console is docked, better frame rate stability in handheld mode, and other improvements.
The update will be available for the Switch 2 demo soon. If you haven’t downloaded the demo yet, you can find details about the different versions of Persona 3 Reload and its downloadable content in my guide. You can also read my review of Persona 3 Reload on the Switch 2 here.

Persona 3 Reload is now released on Nintendo Switch 2, as well as PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC through Steam.
You can find the full patch notes via Atlus below:
Okay, so Atlus just dropped a new update – version 1.03 – for Persona 3 Reload on my Switch 2! The big news is they’ve added a Performance Mode that aims for a smooth 60 FPS, but it’s only when I’m playing on my TV. They’ve also worked on making the game run more consistently in all the other modes, which is awesome. Basically, they’re trying to make the whole experience run a lot better, and I’m excited to jump back in!
Version 1.03 – Patch Details
Performance Mode (only available in TV Mode) – targets 60 FPS
TV Mode and Handheld Mode – improved frame rate stability
An update for the Nintendo Switch 2 demo will be released in the next few days, though the exact time isn’t confirmed yet.
As a huge Persona fan, I’m so excited to see Persona 3 Reload finally on sale for the Nintendo Switch 2! It’s perfect timing for holiday shopping. You can grab it for 15% off on the eShop until January 4th, 2026. And if you’re not sure if you’ll love it (though I’m pretty sure you will!), there’s a free demo you can try. The best part? Your progress in the demo carries over to the full game, so you won’t lose any time!
