Perma-death co-op zombie survival game No More Room in Hell 2 gets gruesome new gameplay trailer

As a seasoned gamer, having survived countless nights of zombie apocalypses in various games, I must admit, No More Room in Hell 2 has managed to pique my interest like no other. The trailer at Gamescom 2024 was nothing short of a visual feast for the survival horror enthusiast in me.

Building upon the 2011 hit, No More Room in Hell 2 aims to enhance the zombie-slaying survival experience across the board. This ambition is particularly clear from its fresh and intense trailer unveiled at Gamescom 2024, which emphasizes gruesome cooperative gameplay featuring mayhem.

Although No More Room in Hell 2 might appear to be just another zombie game, this trailer highlights what sets the series apart from others in its genre. Brief as it may be, it offers a grim glimpse into intense zombie-slaughtering gameplay, featuring an array of melee and ranged weapons that efficiently dismantle the undead horde.

In addition, the eight-player cooperative mode is crucial in the long-awaited sequel, as it plays a significant part. The specter of permadeath constantly lurks, meaning you must stick close to your comrades to endure the menacing hordes of zombie-filled areas. Scrounging for supplies and fulfilling your mission won’t be a walk in the park. Decisions will have to be made: do you sacrifice yourself to save a fellow player, or push forward to save yourself? Keep in mind that valuable loot could determine the success of your next mission.

Although we’ve been given our first glimpse at the enhanced gameplay of No More Room in Hell 2, there’s still no specific release date beyond October 2024 as the trailer concludes with a brief “coming soon.” However, you can add it to your wishlist on Steam and Epic Games.
