‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ Renewed for Season 3 at Disney+ Ahead of Season 2 Premiere

Disney+ announced that “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” will return for its third season, approximately a year prior to the airing of its second season’s debut.

Disney Channel and 20th Television have confirmed that a third season of the show “The Titan’s Curse,” based on Rick Riordan’s novel, is currently being developed. The second season, which has been popular, is set to air in December 2025. A specific premiere date for the new season will be shared at a later time.

It’s not too shocking that the news came about, considering the impressive performance of Season 1 of “Percy Jackson” on Disney+. As per Nielsen streaming data, it ranked among the top five most-watched original shows across all platforms when it premiered in December 2023. It’s also worth noting that Disney had earlier disclosed that the initial episode attracted 13.3 million views within its first six days on both Disney+ and Hulu, where a view is calculated as total viewing time divided by runtime.
