People v. Preds

The well-known YouTube channel, People v. Preds, has encountered a roadblock in its efforts to overturn the ban imposed on it. Despite submitting an appeal to have the ban lifted, the channel’s proprietor has yet to make any progress.

In February 2025, YouTube suspended access to The People v. Preds channel. Since then, the channel’s owner has posted numerous tweets asking for an explanation as to why they were banned from the site.

On February 26, the YouTuber expressed his sincere hope that the correct choice was made, allowing him to regain control of his channel again.

Fans of People v. Predators were puzzled as to why YouTube prioritized shielding adults who communicate with minors, given the show’s primary objective of apprehending online predators targeting children.

One individual remarked, “It seems YouTube aims to protect children from predators, but this approach doesn’t seem quite right.

“Unbelievable, keep up your great work to protect our children!” another exclaimed.

One spectator proposed an opinion that YouTube might disapprove of the tactic used by People v. Predators, as they appear to lure or entice individuals into situations leading to their arrest.

The person behind the channel clarified: “I don’t tempt people to be arrested. It’s people who choose to break the law and get arrested. Avoid breaking the law, avoid getting arrested. It’s quite straightforward. And please, do not endanger children.

I don’t provoke or entice people into being arrested. Instead, people choose to break the law and get apprehended as a result. To avoid being arrested, it’s best not to engage in criminal activities. And always remember to treat children with respect and kindness.

People v. Preds banned from YouTube for “circumvention”

Following my appeal to YouTube through channel X, they replied stating that the content of People v. Preds violated their platform’s rules. “It appears your channel has been temporarily disabled due to policy evasion,” noted Team YouTube.

The individual who established the channel additionally submitted a request to overturn the ban, but YouTube refused this petition. In an email, they clarified their stance, stating, “Your channel will not be reinstated on YouTube.

Despite the court case People v. Preds preventing further uploads of their content related to catching predators, there are numerous YouTubers who share similar videos that have gained considerable popularity on various social media platforms.

YouTube personality JiDion serves as a striking illustration of such situations; more notably, he recently assisted police officers in apprehending a predator when the offender tumbled through a ceiling while trying to evade authorities.
