The scene was certainly unexpected and, to be honest, left me somewhat perplexed as to its purpose or intended meaning.
Currently, Pedro Pascal is highly sought after by studios within Hollywood, yet his latest actions have sparked concerns among many due to their questionable nature.
Not long after the actor from The Mandalorian stirred up news with his suggestion to Dakota Johnson about joining a risqué subscription site and moving her toe for income, fresh video clips have emerged depicting him grooving behind a DJ booth at a gathering… in a rather provocative style.

In the widely shared video, Pedro Pascal is captured dancing while waving a multi-colored staff overhead and seemingly playfully tongue-kissing it. This act appears to be excessively theatrical, even making some viewers feel uneasy due to its apparent craving for attention.
The timing couldn’t be more awkward.
At present, Pascal’s career is thriving due to Disney’s backing, positioning him as a key figure in both the Marvel and Star Wars universes. He stars as Reed Richards in this summer’s “Fantastic Four: First Steps.” Later, he will reprise his leading role in “Avengers: Doomsday,” scheduled for next year. Moreover, he is set to star in the first Star Wars film since 2019, titled “The Mandalorian & Grogu.” This lineup amounts to a series of films with an estimated box office potential exceeding $2 billion.
However, with toe-tapping subscription barriers and colorful get-togethers that resemble a party of rods, questions have arisen: Is it the desired public persona that Disney’s main star aspires to maintain?
In a surprising turn of events, the actor who previously advised his female co-star to capitalize on her feet is now found dancing suggestively in public and tongue-wagging at multi-colored objects. Yet, just as before, the Hollywood media seems unperturbed, continuing to shower him with adoring headlines rather than expressing criticism or issuing statements.
For years, Pascal has been an advocate for gender and identity issues, often attending events and disseminating relevant messages. He’s gone as far as labeling JK Rowling a “detestable failure” because of her attempts to preserve women-only spaces from biological males. However, some critics argue that this recent video might be more about seeking attention rather than activism. If another actor had done the same thing – especially one not well-liked in Hollywood – it’s challenging to imagine such a response being so dismissive.
It doesn’t mean that the Hollywood media would openly criticize such actions, but whispers about the actors’ peculiar public conduct might begin to circulate in the gossip columns.
Given that Disney is known as a family-oriented company, will they remain quiet if there’s growing buzz about Pascal, considering their significant investment in him?
Because although fans are accustomed to lightsabers and stretchy limbs, this scene with the rainbow staff is a completely different experience.
