Disney is delivering what fans have been waiting for: a new Star Wars movie starring Pedro Pascal. Following a brief teaser during the Super Bowl, the full trailer for the first Star Wars film since 2019’s The Rise of Skywalker has been released. The movie continues the story from season three of The Mandalorian, with Pedro Pascal as the bounty hunter Din Djarin and Grogu working with the New Republic to maintain peace in the galaxy after the Empire’s defeat. (The story takes place between the original Star Wars films and the sequels.)
Din Djarin and Grogu encounter Colonel Ward, played by Sigourney Weaver, who explains their mission is to stop future wars, not simply get revenge. Din, however, seems focused on eliminating criminals. Grogu, as usual, is happy pressing buttons, enjoying blue cookies, and traveling in his new carrier. The film, directed by Jon Favreau, also features Jeremy Allen White as Rotta the Hutt and a return to voice acting for Martin Scorsese, who plays a space chef.
