Peacemaker Season 2 Episode 6 needs to answer 2 huge questions

The latest episode of Peacemaker left viewers stunned when Chris entered another dimension. Now, the next episode needs to explain what happens next and address two major mysteries.

Chris faced a lot of rejection in the most recent Peacemaker episode. He bravely confessed his feelings to Harcourt, but she turned him down and then accidentally knocked him unconscious.

After finally facing consequences for his actions at the hands of Rick Flag, he felt completely worthless and ultimately chose to abandon his own world.

Let’s be honest: with Peacemaker, both viewers and critics are experiencing something completely new. Aside from James Gunn and a few people at DC, no one has any idea what’s going to happen next.

Peacemaker Season 2 Episode 6 needs to address 2 things

Episode 6 should explain one of the strangest parts of the trailer: the quick shot of a destroyed world filled with huge, spider-like skulls.

So, what exactly *is* that place? Does it have any connection to other DC characters, or is it inspired by something from the comics? Will the team actually go inside, or will they just observe it through the window in the Quantum Unfolding Chamber? It seems more likely they’ll explore the QUC and eventually find Chris’ new location without entering the mysterious place itself.

One major question is what the other dimension actually *is*. A popular idea is that it’s an alternate Earth – one where the Nazis won World War II. At the very least, the show needs to explain the lack of diversity. Could Chris’s dad not be racist simply because there’s no one *to* be racist against in that world?

There’s a lot of exciting content scheduled for release next week, and James Gunn is keeping it under wraps – no one is allowed to see it, including Episodes 7 and 8. Gunn jokingly admitted to Brandon Davis that this secrecy might be because the episodes aren’t very good.

That’s a possibility. Or, the final three episodes might have some big surprises. Even though I’m only sharing the first five with a limited group, information tends to leak, and it already has.

I’m happy for people to discover things on their own, but I’m determined to keep the details of the final three episodes a secret. I’m being very careful with them – I haven’t even shared them with my publicist, and I’m being completely honest about that.
