Paul Rudd Hands Out Water to Students Waiting in Line to Vote in Pennsylvania: ‘It’s Wonderful All These Young People Are Voting’

As a long-time fan of Paul Rudd, this act of kindness and civic engagement truly resonates with me. His selfless actions at universities in Pennsylvania, where he handed out water to students waiting for hours to vote, not only demonstrate his compassion but also his deep respect for the democratic process.

Paul Rudd unexpectedly visited universities in Pennsylvania, distributing water to students who had been queuing for hours to exercise their right to vote.

At Philadelphia’s Temple University, MSNBC National Correspondent Jacob Soboroff unexpectedly came across the actor known for “Ant-Man” and “I Love You, Man,” prompting him to hurry towards the individual.

Hi there, Paul! Just a quick note that I’m currently live on air with Nicolle Wallace over at MSNBC. Fancy seeing you in the news too! By the way, I was wondering if you could share what inspired you to join the voting lines here in Pennsylvania?

Rudd simply expressed his intention of offering water. He mentioned that the individuals have been queuing for quite some time, and he found it heartening to see so many young people exercising their right to vote.

Upon hearing from Soboroff that certain individuals had queued for as long as two hours to cast their votes, Rudd responded with admiration, expressing, “That’s quite remarkable.

Today, we’ve been quite busy right here in Pennsylvania,” Rudd stated. “We felt it was important to let you know that the fantastic work you’re doing is truly commendable.

After that, Soboroff inquired about Rudd’s feelings regarding the election, which caused Rudd to chuckle and respond, “I’m quite content with distributing some water bottles!

I, following Soboroff, carried on with the interviews, approaching a first-time voter, a young Black woman. She shared that making her decision was straightforward. In her words, “It’s been waiting in the wings, raring to go.” She expressed that she didn’t require any more persuasion, saying, “I didn’t need others to whisper in my ear.

Later on, Rudd emerged from behind them. Soboroff inquired, “Fancy some water from Paul Rudd?” She enthusiastically agreed, “Absolutely!”, and passed her phone to Soboroff to capture a picture of the pair.

From images shared on X, Rudd expressed solidarity with students queuing to vote at Villanova University, a location approximately an hour from Temple. In the 2020 election, Rudd garnered attention by distributing cookies to individuals waiting to vote in the rain, Brooklyn, N.Y.
