Paramount+ Binge Guide (May 8–10): Taylor Sheridan’s #1 Hit Is Dethroned Globally

Heading into the weekend of May 8-10, 2026, Paramount+ has a lot of popular shows, but three stand out as perfect for a binge-watching session. While Taylor Sheridan’s latest series has been a hit since its March debut and was previously the most-watched show on both CBS and Paramount+, it’s recently been surpassed by a popular, long-running police drama.

Everyone’s talking about two popular series on Paramount+ this week, plus an exciting crime drama that’s almost at the end of its current season. If you’re looking for something shorter to watch over the weekend, check out original series like Coldwater and Girl Taken, or other shows by Sheridan such as Tulsa King and Mayor of Kingstown. However, only a few Paramount+ shows are truly global hits right now, and these three are leading the way.

Tracker

If you’re looking for a great show to watch this weekend on Paramount+, check out Tracker. Season three is almost over, and a fourth season is already planned, making now the perfect time to jump in! It’s a popular action drama you won’t want to miss.

As a big fan of crime dramas, I’ve been really enjoying Tracker. It premiered in 2024 and quickly became a hit, scoring an impressive 89% on Rotten Tomatoes. It’s consistently near the top of the charts on CBS and Paramount+. The show centers around Colter Shaw, a wanderer who goes from town to town assisting people and the police with tough cases – it reminds me a lot of the Reacher series on Prime Video, actually. Some people are even saying it’s the ideal show to watch while we wait for season four of Reacher to drop later this year, and honestly, I can see why!

Marshals

Taylor Sheridan’s 6666 (formerly Marshals) has been a huge hit on Paramount+ for the last couple of months and remains a popular choice for viewers. Despite a surprisingly low audience score on Rotten Tomatoes (28%), it’s one of the most-watched new shows on CBS and Paramount+ this year.

The show follows Kayce Dutton, played by Luke Grimes, and focuses on a specialized team of U.S. Marshals as they pursue and capture dangerous criminals. New episodes of Marshals will be released every Sunday through May 24th. Despite some lower scores from critics, viewers who’ve watched the series from the beginning have given it positive reviews on IMDb, indicating it’s a worthwhile watch.

NCIS

As a huge TV fan, I can’t believe how long NCIS has been on the air! It started way back in 2003 and they’ve already made over 500 episodes across 24 seasons – that’s incredible! I recently heard it’s even beating out Marshals in daily viewers on Paramount+, which just proves how popular it still is. It’s a classic police show, and it’s spawned a bunch of spin-offs, solidifying its place as one of the biggest successes in television history, in my opinion.

Over its 20+ year run, NCIS has seen many familiar faces, including stars like David McCallum, Mark Harmon, and Rocky Carroll. Despite these changes, the show remains popular. If you’re looking for a comfortable and nostalgic crime drama to watch this weekend, NCIS continues to deliver, with new episodes and growing viewership making it a great choice in 2026.
