In a new venture, renowned Singaporean entity Paper Rex has stepped into the world of competitive Teamfight Tactics by recruiting Keefe “Kjaos” Joseph Arokiasamy. Kjaos was previously associated with Team Juno and consistently placed among the top five in several APAC and SEA TFT tournaments, while also making frequent international appearances.
At the upcoming global TFT tournament, Into the Arcane: Tactician’s Crown, running from March 14th to 16th, he is set to make his first appearance representing Paper Rex.
For us at Paper Rex, this is a significant milestone as we near our 5-year anniversary. Joining the TFT (TFT stands for the name of the ecosystem) community represents a logical progression and an exhilarating fresh opportunity for our company,” said Nikhil Hathiramani, CEO and Co-Founder of Paper Rex.
It’s part of our philosophy to continually challenge boundaries within regional esports, and backing local stars such as Kjaos helps us expand the influence of Paper Rex in the competitive scene.
During the event, spectators can watch him play live as he performs on Teamfight Tactics’ official Twitch and YouTube platforms.
Beyond Teamfight Tactics, Paper Rex is widely acclaimed in the competitive VALORANT scene, having secured the VCT Pacific championship twice. Notably, it was the initial Singaporean esports team to amass $1 Million in earnings and the first Southeast Asian organization to reach the finals of an international tournament when their VALORANT squad qualified for Masters Copenhagen 2022.
