Paige DeSorbo Exits ‘Summer House’ After 7 Seasons: ‘It’s Time for This Chapter to Close’

Paige DeSorbo is closing the door on Bravo’s “Summer House.”

On her Instagram Stories, the podcast host and TV personality declared yesterday that she won’t be coming back for another season of the reality show, following seven successful seasons. This announcement was made after the final episode of Season 9 of “Summer House” aired on Wednesday evening.

Participating in this series has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life – the friendships formed, the excitement, the laughter, all indelible memories. You’ve watched me evolve over the past seven summers. I will forever be immensely thankful for the memories, the camaraderie, and the possibilities this rollercoaster journey has offered. However, as with every good thing (and sometimes poor choices), it’s time to bring this phase of my life to an end.

She went on saying, “To my co-stars, spectators, and NBCU family: thank you. I never would have thought this journey would unfold as it did, with so many of you joining me along the way.” DeSorbo also mentioned that “this may not be goodbye, as I plan to return in some capacity for Bravo.” This could imply further collaborations with Bravo in the future.

2019 marked Paige DeSorbo’s debut on “Summer House” during its third season, accompanied by her fellow “Giggly Squad” member Hannah Berner. However, Berner departed after Season 5. The latest season showcased the hurdles DeSorbo and her ex-boyfriend, “Southern Charm’s” Craig Conover, encountered prior to their split towards the end of 2020. DeSorbo has expressed a desire to progress beyond reality TV, particularly as “Giggly Squad” expands. In March, both DeSorbo and Berner served as hosts on the red carpet at the Vanity Fair Oscar party, engaging with numerous top-tier celebrities.
