If you’ve collected all eight weapon types from the Path Actions but haven’t unlocked the “Battle-Tested Gear” trophy or achievement, you might be wondering what’s going on. It’s not a bug! The reason is likely that you’re still missing the Battle-Tested Shield, which is earned differently than the other equipment.

This task is straightforward if you know where to find the items. You need to collect three book keys – one each from Sufrataljah, the Donescu area, and Berecain – and bring them back to the librarian in Atlasdam. See the list below for specific details.

The game rewards you with the “Music Aficionado” trophy or achievement for finding 30 out of the 40 available music scores. Don’t worry about missing any – you can collect them all at your own pace by using this list to find the ones you still need.

You can earn a trophy called “Treasures of Legend” by collecting all the Legendary Treasures. As a reward, you’ll also receive The Final Music Score.

If you find a Crested Key (or any similar item), a new quest called “An Encounter with Viator” will become available in the town of Valore. Completing this quest will allow you to add Viator, a wandering character, to your team. He’ll mention his goal of collecting all the Crested Keys to locate The Eight Sacred Treasures.

Similar to the Crested Keys, you can find one of these fragments very early in the game. If you select it as a starting item for your character, you’ll have it right away.

You’re close to finishing Octopath Traveler II! You’ve gathered all eight travelers, but you might be stuck on Therion’s final personal quest, ‘An Indestructible Flame,’ because the objective isn’t appearing. Also, in Wishvale’s construction menu, you may notice a Strange House that needs a Strange Key, which is found in Agapea.
