I was so relieved when the first part of Stranger Things season 5 came out! It did a fantastic job of bringing us back to Hawkins and reconnecting with all the characters without feeling rushed or chaotic. It really gives me hope for the new spinoff, Stranger Things: Tales from ’85, which will fill in the story between seasons 2 and 3. I’m excited to see what they do with that!

The cast – including Lucas Till, Aisling Franciosi, Nick Robinson, and Diana Silvers – is fantastic, and the whole thing feels epic in scope while still being incredibly emotionally raw. Honestly, even though it’s a new show, it feels like a modern take on a classic Western. If you’re someone who loves stories about people pushed to their limits, characters who aren’t simply good or evil, and that feeling of living right on the edge of the law, trust me – you’ll be craving more after you finish watching The Abandons.
